"Seeing Evan do things like plant a garden, feed cows, and use power tools to help build a greenhouse has opened our eyes to how much more capable he is than even we as his parents thought he was. Though he has difficulty expressing his feelings with words, his eagerness to go to the farm each week shows us that he feels confident and valued there as well", L. Schel .
"Although he was enrolled in speech, occupational, and physical therapies, the missing piece for Gideon was a consistent opportunity to apply those therapeutic skills and work on his goals through real-life activities that are fun and engaging. Cooper Ridge Farm was exactly what he needed!" J.Davis
"As a mother, I never imagined such a celebration of my children would be found in my local area. From the moment we were blessed with a child with Down Syndrome, my husband and I wanted to foster this unique child’s abilities while celebrating this beautiful creation. We have found no therapy, school or organization that fulfills this goal of our hearts like Cooper Ridge Farm." J.McKinney

Cooper Ridge provides a unique and effective way to work on traditional therapy goals (occupational, physical and speech therapies) in a fun and interactive environment. Each intervention focuses on developmental, educational, and emotional support to our participants through structured farm activities with our animal partners. In addition, we work on our four pillars of goals: Self-Awareness, Self-Control, Self-Esteem and Self-Confidence.
We offer seasonal programs that run approximately 11 weeks each. Participants enroll in either weekly or bi-weekly sessions. Registration is processed via email , registration form is posted under the "Our Programs" tab.
Yes. Once a month we offer field trip days. Field trips are for small groups of individuals with a maximum headcount of 15 people. Field trip programs last 2 hours.
Cooper Ridge maintains strong partnerships throughout the community including a special partnership with Augusta University. Students from the Masters programs in Occupational and Physical Therapy aid in conducting sessions and progress documentation.
