Children today face far greater pressures and challenges than ever before. Social media and electronics have proven to be both a blessing and a curse at times during those crucial developmental years. Now add to this the layer of a child struggling with a disability, experiencing social or behavioral disorders, or in need of emotional support.
This is where Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) comes into play. Caring for and building a trusting relationship with a non-judgmental animal can be life-changing for a struggling child.
Animals have an innate ability to help and heal us, if you are interested in finding out more please contact us at 706-381-0880 or email us at friends@cooperridgefarm.org. We look forward to hearing from you!
