Ms. Josephine founded Cooper Ridge in the fall of 2019 with the goal of creating a special place where children in the community would feel welcomed to be themselves and work on their self development & growth, all while learning how to connect with animals. She believes strongly in the human-animal bond and the benefits associated for both human and animals alike. Josephine is a graduate of Animal Behavior Institute with a Certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy and is a registered member of the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals with her Certification in Animal-Assisted Interventions.
Ms. Michelle began working at Cooper Ridge in the fall of 2023. With a background in Special Education and a love for animals, Michelle's experience and heart lends itself perfectly into our work at the farm. She is a graduate of Animal Behavior Institute with a Certification in Animal-Assisted Interventions and earned her Certification in Animal-Assisted Interventions from the Association of Animal-Assisted Intervention Professionals.
Ms. Brandi started at Cooper Ridge as a session volunteer in 2022. With her degree in Psychology, experience in ABA therapy, and love for our mission and animal partners, Brandi is a perfect fit for our work. She is a graduate of Animal Behavior Institute with a Certification in Animal-Assisted Therapy.
Katelyn is a graduate of Grovetown High School and will be attending Augusta University in the fall of 2024 as part of their Physical Therapy Program. She has volunteered at the farm for years and we're thrilled to have her join as part of our team!
For 2 years Aidan attended Cooper Ridge for therapy prior to joining our team in September 2024. This is his 1st ever job and we are thrilled to help him on his journey in life. What a joy to see him working in a place he truly enjoys.
Paul joined our team in September 2024 and has been helping Aidan navigate his 1st job by mentoring him. The two gentlemen have known each other for years and Paul is well versed in working different jobs throughout the community. We are so grateful for Paul's helping heart.
